Singer Songwriter Melissa Gibson is our guest on saturday April 17th. Influenced by the likes of Mary Chapin Carpenter, Marc Cohn and Joni Mitchell, Singer/Songwriter Melissa Gibson's Country music has a remarkable, introspective, folky slant to it. Produced and Engineered by Vaughn Lofstead, her songs are a thought provoking collection of insightful lyrics and rich melodies mixed among some lighter, up-tempo tunes. Melissa's naturally soothing voice shines as she carries each song off effortlessly. She is complemented beautifully by principal instrumentalist and arranger, Vaughn Lofstead. "He seemed to have an uncanny understanding of exactly what direction I wanted to take my music," explains Melissa.

Maria has a voice drenched with soul, sincerity and romanticism that forms a strong bond with any who hear her.

An invitation into the musical world of Maria de Barros requires an intriguing geography lesson. The sensuous singer, currently making her recording debut with a multi-faceted project aptly titled NHA MUNDO (My World), is a native of Dakar, Senegal in West Africa and lived for the first 13 years of her life in Nouackchott, Mauritania in northwest Africa. Her creative heart, however, lies in the culturally rich land of Cabo Verde, a former Portuguese colony located 350 miles off the coast of Senegal, the birthplace of her parents.

STAMPEAD is the answer to today’s rock music. Compared to the epic sounds of groups such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Paul Simon, Smashing Pumpkins, and Pearl Jam, STAMPEAD’s original display of landmark lyrics, vocal intensity and melodic guitar work have paved the way for the next monumental rock band. The core of STAMPEAD's sound emerges from explosive front man Judd David.
